Setting up MikroTik RouterBoard Configuration for ZTE OLT
Step-by-Step Manual
Note:
Note:
Creation of VLAN for hosts
1 We must have our VLANs created to establish a network for the hosts. The VLAN must be assigned to the interface connected to the OLT at the UPLINK port.
IP Addressing
1 In the IP Address section, assign the IP to each interface as shown in the following images, which are based on the topology shown at the beginning of the manual.
1.1 IP addressing for the default Administration network. This is the network present in new Huawei OLTs or ones that have been reset to default values. This IP will only serve to connect to the equipment for the first time, as later in the OLT configuration, we will change it to our administration network.
1.2 IP addressing for the administration network. This will be the IP used to manage our new administration network. It should remain off until the network is configured in the OLT. Once the change is made, turn off the default IP.
1.3 LAN IP addressing for ZTE OLT. This address will be the gateway for the LAN network for Hosts (ONUs) of VLAN120, which will be used to provide static addressing, DHCP, or PPPoE server assignment.
- 1.- Add the default segment of the OLT: 136.1.1.254/24 for communication with the Mikrotik
- 2.- Add the OLT Administration LAN: 192.168.20.0/24, later assigning the IP 192.168.20.80 to the OLT
- 3.- Add a VLAN where our ONU network segment is assigned: 192.168.44.0/24 (SFP port or Ethernet port as applicable). The VLAN will be assigned to the UPLINK port of the ZTE OLT
2 Test the connection with the OLT using the default assigned IP.
