Setting up PON Port TP-Link DS-P7001 Series
Important Note
The first part of the manual specifies how we can enable the PON ports from AdminOLT, the second part provides instructions on how to disable the Auto mode of the PON port from the OLT.
Steps for Enabling PON Ports
1 Go to the OLT Port List
2 While in this view, select the option Activate all PON ports.
3 Once the process is complete, we will be able to see the list of available ports on our OLT.
Steps for Disabling Auto Mode
Important
If you already have ONUs authorized on the PON port through the Auto method and you disable it, it may cause a loss of service.
1 Log into the web interface of our OLT, and disable Auto Authentication
