Can an ONU from a different brand than the OLT be authorized?
In order to authorize an ONU from a different brand than the OLT, it is necessary for the OLT to be allowed to admit them. On this occasion, an ONU from the brand Generic will be authorized, using an OLT ZTE C320.

1 Add an ONU Model.
Add ONU Model
This step is not necessary, but it helps us have a visual guide of the client's ONU. On this occasion, we will create a Model that corresponds to the characteristics of the model. You can follow the steps in the manual How do I add an ONU model?
2 Authorize ONU from the system
We need to go to List of Unauthenticated Onus and search for our ONU
Sometimes, when the OLT brings unauthenticated ONUs, it does not recognize the models and therefore the name does not appear. You must find the ONU in the list and authorize it.
3 Assign Static WAN IP to the ONU.
First, we must assign our computer an IP from the 192.168.1.0/24 segment
Verify that we have the IP
Enter the ONU's web interface
In the Network tab, add a new configuration and enter our data.
4 Once we have assigned the IP and authorized, verify that we have internet access
5 Optional: We can limit the speed from Mikrotik
Verify the speed again
